Not sure if Ottawa would move their first rounder this year, as they don't have one next year due to the Matt Duchene trade, but you never know. Both Tkachuks on one team would be glorious (or absolute hell if you dislike that team)

I really dont think Ott is going to be trading their 1st round pick if they if they decide to keep it and not give it to the Avs.

I dont see how the Sens are better long term giving up 3 1st round picks in 2 drafts when they clearly need to rebuild (Duchene and this trade). If Ott keeps the pick they are using it on one of the top 5 picks that seem to be cant miss

In theory it works, but in reality if you are married to drafting Brady, you have to pick 2nd. It's been reported teams like BUF have Brady ranked 2nd, no guarantees you get him at 4.
