He does I'm sad he is going to be with us forever lol he might accept this trade to Vancouver an instead of home a I could send Benson or something since Vancouver is in rebuild mood maybe having that first and a good prospect come back is worth it hell I'd retain two million on him hahah

C'mon Dylan, Carolina is loaded with young inexpensive, roster and prospect LD men! The last thing they would do is take on Sekera. RNH might be a good fit for them but get realistic!

If he wanted to play in Vancouver he would have signed here as a UFA. I don't think he wants the pressure or to play for a rebuilding team. It would also be foolish for Vancouver to go after him. The only a way a Lucic to Van deal would happen is if Edmonton took Eriksson. But Eriksson will age better than Lucic.

Maybe trade him back to Los Angeles?

I thought the idea of retaining a million on sekera could be appealing to them but it may not be realistic as I said maybe a trade of RNH and sekera for galchenyuk and let's say shaw might work

Unfortunately I think Lucic is on your books until you get lucky and the new CBA allows a free buyout or until his contract runs out. Sorry!

John Chayka would make this trade in a heart beat. I am not sure it Ron Francis would give up a 1st and McGinn for RNH. But I think it is close so sure, 5 stars my friend.

Problem is Lucic has a full NMC and would never waive for ARI.

trying to correct your mistake with another mistake ain't the way to do it. either hold on to him and hope for a rebound or just buy him out, but for the love of dog don't just toss away a first round pick.

Thank you for your comment. TBH, when I look at trades I am more interested with the exchange of values, not the probabilities, because if we judged all of the trades on their probabilities none of these are going to happen. We are fake GM's and we have to suspend disbelief just to have fun here. I am not trying to offend you because that is not my intent, I just want to point out the reality of this site, it is for fun and I think we have to presume the players will be willing to move, but would the real GM's make deals as we present them. IMO, both Chayka and Francis would, and that is to what I was responding.

And I understand what you are saying but the fact of the matter is that Lucic has a full NMC and won't wave it to go play in Arizona. If he didn't care where he plays he wouldn't have put an NMC in his contract. Being on a team with the best player in the world is a very appealing thing.

Might be fair with Mtl: RNH + Sekera LHD for CHucky + Shaw... maybe MTL would need to add D-depth in Schlemko? (I would prefer if you say:" No I'll tale Alzner "lolll)
