Im assuming your defenders and Tavares are untouchable. So RNH++ or Granlund++

Hello sir, Boston GM here. I saw that you wanted a top 6 winger for Donato....

I was wondering if you had interest in Ryan Spooner. He was a 2nd line RW in Boston this season and while I don't know exactly where he's playing for the Rangers; he's scored 15 points in 16 games for them so he's contributing 1st line production. You mentioned you needed an affordable contract and I'm happy to report Spooner is on a 3 x 3.15m contract starting next season. That's only a 300k raise for him from his current contract even though his career points per game average was around .54 coming into this season and he's working at a .72 pace this year.

Spooner is a start, but I'd still need more before I considered it

@McJesus_ I was browsing and saw that you were missing the last trade I made as a GM with Colorado. I wasn’t able to put it on my page and it should be in the official trades thread. Also I resent your title.

There is too much probability of Donato being an AHLer next season for me to add any more than a mid-late pick. It wouldn't be justifiable to move a surefire top6 player scoring at a 60 point pace + something else for a guy who's blocked from being an NHLer due to young competition. There are 3 spots open at wing and DeBrusk, Heinen and Bjork all have the upper hand on Donato currently.

Id have to disagree woth you there. If you look at what Donato's done in his career before coming to the NHL (103 career points in NCAA (more than McDavid & Gretzkys NCAA point totals combined)) and the fact he has 5pts in 6 games so far this season I'd have to say he will be a solid NHLer for years to come

Just giving 5 stars since @EthanK24 decided to spoil the team rating Sticking Out Tongue

Now than Neuvirth is injured, any interest in Cam Ward as a cheap and reliable rental backup?

I'd be surprised if that type of negotiating helps you.... Donato is riding high on a peak right now, he'll hit a wall and then we'll see what he truly is. A good comparison for him is Jimmy Vesey who had 98 points in 96 games through his Jr year compared to Donato's 104 in 97 games. If you think Donato is going to be the player he's been these first few games over the entirety of his career I guess I'd just say..... thanks for being a big fan of a Bruins player lol. I myself have more realistic expectations of around a 40 point season next year in maybe 70ish games, which is still pretty good but not necessarily as good as what I think Spooner will do.
