Description
so instead of selling a lot of good pieces to bring in the rw right hand shot that is so "needed" why not trade for a little center depth and move janko down to 4th line where he can still produce but doesnt kill us when he isnt.

so i had
Chucky monny bennett
johnny hayes ferland
dube backs fro
hath janko lazar/shore

but then i realized the 14 mil in cap space so lets go sign someone to fit in the top six.

He hasn't exactly proven anything and you could use that money towards a better and more productive player

This comes up a lot, and it never really makes sense to me. why do people think Stone is worth a third? he's terrible

Brodie doesn’t fit the direction the rangers are going. It would have to be one of Fox or Valimaki or maybe Anderson +

I feel like the Flames already have a decent centre core. Jankowski had an alright rookie year and would've had more points with a better winger than Hathaway imo. I do like Hayes but I don't see how adding him really makes the Flames better than adding a true top six RW for a similar price.

Wouldn't be a bad idea if Toronto wanted to make that deal? One player I've seen that may be more available is Daniel Sprong on the Pens and the Pens want affordable defencemen.

Fox is a great prospect but he’s still in college.. the pick probably goes the other way. I don’t see the Flames making this move anyway.
