    Instead of that large package from Nashville, take out the picks and Ellis, make it Tolvanen, Fiala, and Fabbro for Karlsson. You know that they have the talent, and there's high risk with those picks since you don't know if you'll hit or miss them

    or better yet scrap it all together because there is zero reason for Nashville of all teams to go after Karlsson.

    So the best GM in the league would give up Ellis, Fiala, Tolvanen, 2 1sts, and a 3rd for Karlsson? Uh, i didn't know GMs like Poile did that ...

    ...and as this is a team sport, and Nashville already has the best defense in the league, that doesn't actually matter in the context of this trade.

    Not making the Hoffman deal at all. Where is this beneficial for the Sens? A late 1st and 2nd?
