I don't think we can consider Dustin Brown's contract as horrible anymore after his resurgence this year.

Dumoulin is fine. He's young and his partner has left him out to dry way too much this season. $4.1M for his caliber of defense will be an absolute steal 2-3 years from now when the cap goes up.

I know that he have a good year, but that does not erase the last 3 years.

Yeah that was a hard one to pick (that's what she said) but , in my opinion, 4.1 M over 6 years is a lot for a defensive d-man. But maybe in the long term, I'll be wrong we'll see.
