Description
these kinds of contracts never happen in hockey, but if the leafs could load up for one year on one year deals they could be deadly. obviously this will never happen, just fun to fool around and see what you can add and stay under cap. signed to one year deals because of marner and matthews deals coming in a year.

None of the players you have signing 1 year deals actually sign 1 year deals. And nobody takes Matt Martin's contract without compensation going their way. The only high end player that might sign a 1 year deal with the Leafs is Thornton.

UFA contracts are poor. Reality is the Leafs are way over cap if performance bonuses are considered. A roster of 23 would be nice.

it clearly said in the explanation deals like this dont take place, just saying this money could work for a shot at the cup. it would never happen, just interesting to see what they could add to stay under lol
