Ladd won't waive his mmc to montreal, especially if it means he's going to bought out.

Not with that albatross of a contract.

Even with that contract teams would still pay a high price for him. In the evaluation of a trade he is worth multiple elite pieces (don’t think the trade above makes sense), those pieces could include a top five pick, elite prospect and a roster player.

It was rumoured that St.louis offered MTL Jake Allen, Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou for Price. That’s with his contract and they said no, same was said for PK Subban when he signed his contract but they still had Vancouver offering them Bo Horvat, Tanev and #5 overall for him (the trade they should have taken).

Point is that we as fans look at these contracts and think they are ridiculous but for actual GMs that’s just the price that you have to pay for proven players

The isles probably take the deal but it still won’t happen. The Ladd buyout is literally disgraceful - as in its $4.8M for the next four years and then still some more money

I like the kickers on each of those trades...
FYI- Van have already trade for Luongo a few years ago... and Luongo has a huge contract and still work out well!
So I don't see Price contract a bid of a deal for the BC Homeboy. (In 3 years 10M/y will be normal in the league)

Galch + 2x2nd seems low for ROR... they will require one of the 3 1st you have collected. Galch, highest 1st No#11 + Low 2nd No#40.

Been in the top 3 for the past 5 years earlier has been fully active for. Was the best for 3 out of those 5.

Or did not watch when he won every individual player trophy you can win?

im not talking about him being a top 3 goalie, but about the return you got for your top 3 goalie.... not much.

Price will put a lot of stability to this young foward core. Vancouver have to pay a big price to get the men.
