If Winnipeg’s trading Trouba, the main piece coming back wouldn’t b another top 4 RHD. It’d prob most likely b a top 4 LHD (I think they should lose Enstrom, Kulikov, or both). I could see cases for different Trouba trades, but this one makes no sense considering you’re trading Trouba because of your surplus on the right side.

Trouba seems to going the UFA route in two years. To me it's a an overpayment by the Isles who probably won't make the players with Trouba or even Tavares. A more logical trade would be Trouba to a contender who want his play for two years. Winnipeg seems to be Cup contenders. Why even trade Trouba? Good teams don't worry about upcoming UFAs, they keep their best players for playoff runs.
