FIVE STARS my friend.
Weber for O'Reilly? I will take my chances that Shea will be able to play out his contract.
Let's make a deal cheers

If we're trading away Weber, it's for a rebuild. ROR is a win-now trade target. I respectfully pass on this trade.

Montreal loses no matter what. How do you essentially spin PK for ROR? It's an interesting proposal tho.

You have to excuse my fellow Brethren in Arms as he would give 5 stars if the Sabres traded ROR for a bag of stinky hot dog crap!

No kidding but what's where we are at, damn if only we had a time machine to go back and un-do all of Bergevin's mistakes over the past 2 years!

ROR is still only 27 with 5 years left on his contract, he still can be around in 3-4 years when the rebuilt is complete.
I have doubts about what type of d-man Weber will look like at 36+

That's the likely answer right there...Bergevin out the door clears the way for a new GM to right the ship regardless of previous deals. I like Weber but think the Canadiens would do well to sneak away from that contract sooner than later.

Montreal and Buffalo are in some positions, a lot of catching up to the other teams to make the playoffs. Canadiens sure could use ROR as could most teams. I don't think the Sabre do the deal though, they need futures.

Yes I would because his three years in Buffalo have been a disaster, every year fewer points and lower in the standings. Funny how he and Duchene get traded and the Avalanche do better. While the teams to which they were traded are now 31st and 30th, the worse teams in the NHL. Yet Ottawa was an OT goal away from reaching the finals last year and they added Duchene. Weber is not a bag of stinky hot dog crap. Big NHL players play much longer than than average or small players. I have no doubt that Weber will be productive through his entire contract.
