    I thought that Carolina deal was bad till I so the Montreal deal. Carolina has to give a their top pick for two cap dumps. Maybe the Oilers give the 1st rounder.
    Wouldn't the Canadiens be a thousand times better spending 8.5m on a UFA (doesn't have to be this year) and keeping those four first rounders, including the second overall instead of a 8.5m Leon.

    That Montreal trade is absolutely terrible for Montreal, but it's also incredibly lazy. put some effort in.

    Even after getting rid of the worst contracts on the team. Oilers still do not have enough winger depth to have Yamamoto in the AHL.

    People complain about PC ruining the team but this abysmal. Where are the negative stars

    The funny thing about this thread is the Habs fans knocking the trade, yet some of these same people were signing Draisaitl to offer sheets last summer.
