Description
Call me crazy, Sens fans. I can't make any sense of what's going on in Ottawa re: Karlsson, to rebuild or not to rebuild... I'm just taking a stab at a bring Ryan home to Philly deal for old time's sake. Let me know what you think!

I like the idea of retaining Ryan for good value and sending him somewhere to rejouvenate his career, and Philly could work. I don’t like that u signed Grabner for traded for Spezza, tho. They should have higher roles than u gave them.

I'd do it but only retain 2.25. You'd get him at 5 Mill which in my opinion is very good value. He was our best forward in the playoffs and had a great start to this year before he got hurt (coincidentally, that's when our season started to crash). If he can stay healthy, he's a solid 55 point guy.

I like it though. We're just kinda cheap when it comes to $$

Thanks for the comment. I was going for 4 actually good lines. That's why they are spread out as such. Granted, it's a luxury if it's at all possible, but IMHO Vegas showed us how powerful depth is this year.

P.S. Grabner and Raffl are buddies. Both from Villach, Austria. The more you know.

I hear you. The health concern is the reason he can't be a 5 mil+ player for 4 more years IMHO. I'm glad we're in the range of something reasonable here. Good luck to your boys next season.

As a sens fan, I might try something where we send Weal and a 3rd to Arizona in exchange for them retaining rather than us. so PHI gets Ryan at 3.6, OTT gets a 2nd and a 3rd and ARI gets Weal and a 3rd for retaining.
