Sick of them winning. They’re not the best team in the world. They get a bunch of lucky bounces and calls go their way (or non-calls that should have been). Injuries to opponents’ significant players. Playing in the easiest division. I’ve just hated watching these last 2 years, and I’m already pretty salty and pessimistic about this year.

Yeah, they won because 2 easy rounds thanks to a terrible division full of chokers and a 3rd round against a team with 1 good player (that had a broken foot). They beat Nashville because they didn’t have Johansen and there were at least 2 goals that would’ve made a huge difference that Nashville scored. Called off because “the ref didn’t see it” and “Offsides”. Total crap.

With the salary cap being raised again this offseason, all of the Pens' high-end salaries are looking more and more reasonable. I am just throwing this out there, because it will need to happen eventually, even if this is an unpopular opinion. What if the Pens traded Phil Kessel coming off his most productive season ever to a team that needs offence, such as Carolina, that has prospects. I won't call it a rebuild or retool on the fly, but the Pens ability to continue adding quality NHL prospects to this team has played a key role in their success the last few season.

That sissons call was BS no doubt and the injuries down the middle helped but bobby ryan was on fire and colombus was inexperienced and washington really does choke a lot dont they?

No team has 3 elite players like we do and that is why we win. People should've realized this by now. Brassard and Hornqvist are also 50-60pts established players which would make them first liners on a team like Nashville or Ottawa or most teams for that matter, in fact hornqvist was a 1st liner when he was in Nashville. Guentzel is looking like he can have the same production or better, maybe sheary and rust too. Letang is also one of the best offensive defenseman in the league. And Schultz is great too, had a 51pts season when he was given top line minutes and it wasn't even top lines minutes for the entire season.
