Minnesota Wild new GM

Created by: Wild1205
Team: 2018-19 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 24, 2018
Published: Apr. 24, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Minnesota needs more speed and they need to win more puck battles i traded for Lindholm because heis a former top pick of the Hurricanes who has never quite reached his scoring potential. But as we’ve seen from Staal, circumstances may have dictated his poor numbers. The Wild should be on the hunt for talented players who are under appreciated by their teams – especially if they are on the younger side.

Grabner will get more than a mil Coyle wont get you Lindholm and a 1st and Buffalo would not retain.

Wild also have Kaprizov coming up who will add to the offense.

Sabres are not dumping off ROR. We need him for this upcoming season. The only way we are trading him is if someone overpays for him so obviously this offer is just no even close.

I don’t think Coyle even gets you Lindholm straight up. He may get you Rask but that’s about as even as it’ll be for CAR.

Exactly, it would be close in a Coyle for Lindholm trade straight up but determining what Lindholm new contract looks like you would think he is worth more than Coyle.

Agreed. Late in the year, he finally moved to his originally drafted position of center and did very well. CAR would prefer his RW versatility, so I think Rask would be more available. If depends on what they are looking for. Rask is a good 200’ 2C. With Peters system being so defensively responsible, it seemed to suppress the points for our centers a little...not to mention what it did to the goalies. It will be really interesting to see if a system change reboots this group. Anywho, Rask for Coyle would probably make more sense and with Lindy moving to the middle, CAR could use another RW.

Yeah, I think Carolina would be better off moving a defenseman for a scoring forward or 1/2 center.

Five stars for wanting O'Reilly
That is the usual return for a play similar to O'Reilly, a good roster player, a 1st and a prospect (in this case a 2nd). I know my fellow Sabre booster will disagree but I would made that trade.
Let's make a deal cheers
