After this season you move on from Pereault, Stastny, and possibly move on from Myers during season or let him walk next offseason that frees over 15 million for laine and Connor. Then you maybe either move wheeler or break your defense up. Maybe moving hickey or leddy following the end of the season. Whichever has a worse fit

Arizona does take on 8.3m in salary, just because the Jets don't want them.

Honestly they could up the picks to whatever Arizona wanted. They have the depth in all areas to where the draft isn’t gonna be meaning as much too them in the next few years. They could definitely sweeten that pot with Arizona. Or possibly even Vegas.
