I think they are a contender for sure, or on just on the edge of being a contender.

I think what this team really needs is a solid top 4 DMAN and a number 1 goalie that is not Reimer. Reimer just is simply not good enough to take them to the playoffs, not with that D-core in front of him. I think getting rid of a guy like Garrison would nicely clear up some cap space.
