Habs 2018

Created by: Rideordie
Team: 2018-19 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 25, 2018
Published: Apr. 25, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This is if we get lucky and draft Dahlin et manage to sign Tavares.
Arizon trade is possible since they have a hard time to attract free agents and Hja will problebly sign elsewhere at the end of the year. So alzner long contract is interesting for them. Also Mccaron played with Domi in juniors.

Terry will sign elsewhere im pretty sur.
Tippet can be replaced by any of the top prospects that perfom next training camp.
New capitain: Gallagher
Assist: Weber and Tavares.

I remember everyone saying Tippett=Patches, and who knows if that’s still fair to say anymore.

If that is true, tho, and Bjugstad is worth 2nd and 3rd, then this isnt bad.

i'd rather have Börgtrom over Tippett. I doubt FLA would trade their only two right wingers for a left-handed shot. IMO they keep Bjgustad no matter what.

Well im pretty sure since they have Börgstrom as a new third line center they dont really nees Bjustad anymore and im pretty sure they would prefer the cheaper option in the center since they have Barkov and trocheck. If they do this trade, they will problebly be able to sign kovalchuk also who is a right handed winger.

All trades aside, my question is... Maxim Lapierre?

I'd take Max Lapierre back instead of Pleky tbh.

Honnestly a week ago I would have never thought about it but after the year he had and the need for more emotion on the habs team, I think could really help on a fourth linr as soon as a player gets injured!

You guys are insane. The SwissA league is below AHL-level. I doubt he can succeed at the NHL 4th liner level, let alone at the AHL 2nd liner level.
Yes, even if he did have a good season (checked that out when you mentioned it... Glad he's doing well!)

Also, love the profile pic lavsim lol

I was more talking about what he brings to the team and emotion having played in Spengler cup and Olympics recently. I mean hes better then JDLR.

Alright, I can accept the first part of the sentence. Not quite sure about the second part (doesn't bring "emotion", but he has improved at the end of the season in hit shutdown ability and ability to help plays develop)
