With the cap you should take cap dumps for picks. I also like the possibility of bringing DeHaan in mtl.

I wouldn't count on Evans to be part of the habs at season start. He'll surely be in Laval to start his pro career and see how things goes down there.

In fact, i wanted to see what that cap would look like after those moves. You're right, DeHaan is the type of D that would fit right in on that left side. I'm also with you about Evans, i asssume he will start the season but not sure about what comes after for him.

Not sure why we'd even extend Niemi, Lindgren should be absolutely capable of handling the backup job going forward. And if Niemi doesn't say yes to less than that, he's out of the league. Hell, he should be happy to even get an offer from some team. Despite posting solid numbers in Montreal, he's incredibly shaky. It's no coincidence he kept getting waived early on this year.
