Not sure how Blues would say no, especially if they're willing to be aggressive on the UFA market to replace Parayko.

Love the st louis trade. Dont like the jersey one, thats not what their ask would be, but i dont want a 6 million dollar goalie anyways.

NJ wouldn't either so don't worry. I'd rather have a 6M good goalie than a 4M+ average goalie and a player every single Sabres fans says sucks.....

Blues say no. ROR is another Paul Stastny which didn't help us the first time around. Solid player, not one that puts the Blues over the top. If the Blues were to trade for ROR, Parayko immediately stops the trade talks.

Schneider is still an elite goalie, but no one views him as one, literally no one. And do you know why? Because he plays on a defense that is run by Will Butcher and Sami Vatanen.

Imagine Schneider with Dahlin, Parayko, Ristolainen, and Scandella in front of him. Elite

Don’t see it happening from the Blues end. ROR isn’t a true 1C. So why take on the money then have to turn around and spend more than what Parayko makes just to replace him?

Completely agree. This trade just doesn’t make any sense for the Blues. Buffalo would have to retain about 3 million of RORs contract to consider this, otherwise they just resign Stastny for less money and without giving up a core piece.

As a St.Louis Blues fan I know GM Doug Armstrong would not do this. Because Parayko is a top young defenseman that isn't at his peak and is effecting the team in big ways. ROR wouldn't even help the team down the middle. He likes having Tage Thompson, Ivan Barbashev, Brayden Schenn, Patrik Berglund, and Kyle Brodziak as his Center Options. Mike Yeo would not allow Doug Armstrong to trade Parayko anyway. Jersey would not trade Cory schneider to get right to a Goalie who is decent at best. Girgensons might help a little up front, but right now in the spot they are at is finding players to sign instead of trying for girgensons. JvR not a horrible look, but again where is the money coming from if you just gained Cory Schneider, and Parayko, and also Vermette. Vermette I would think might happen but not for 2 years at 2 mil.
