Works for both sides, I think. The Coyotes had a glut of left-shot wingers and kinda need center depth, and the Hurricanes certainly weren't using Krüger as an NHL player.

I get that he's taking cap dumps for picks, but he can't be doing that forever. Arizona needs a real team using it's cap space for real assets.

Krüger for Martinook isn't far from a lateral move. both are probably best suited got 4th line duties

Not a very relevant move for either team, just depth pieces being swapped. I'd have to give the edge of this trade to Carolina though.

I suppose it was done to show that the two organizations aren't just sleeping in April and May. Shows the fans, that their is still someone "minding the store". This trade might win "The Most Irrelevant Trade" in 2018" (and 19 and 20).

Have you seen Brian "The Brian" Burke on TV or his recent interview. Still blaming the Toronto media for his poorly management teams years ago. Every time he speaks he seems to show he knows less about professional hockey than any sportscaster. Still trying to show he is relevant as a hockey mind, and failing.

Dang I liked Martinook on the yote dogs even though he was only considered a depth player. I think Kruger sucks personally. I can't stand Chayka he is so stupid for what he is doing to the coyotes. He is gonna get fired one of these days.
