I really like the St.Louis trade, the others aren’t all that great. I don’t know if anyone would take Schlemko but the Benn one is fine. The Colombus trade is good in terms of value but I don’t know if Colombus would do it. The trade I really don’t like is the Alzner trade. I’m an NYR fan and we don’t want Alzner. It’s realky more like a so dump and unless we get something good, there’s no way we make that deal

The value is fair but I don’t see Columbus trade our future number one for a failed prospect and a couple picks that at this point mean nothing. Sorry.

Boston wouldn't trade Macavoy for Doughty, let alone Shea Weber. Who would you rather have, an aging, failing former Norris Candidate, or a 20 year old future Norris winner, who has his whole career ahead of him?

this is so typical of a rebuild, and so unreal for any team not montreal. other teams have cap considerations too. just dumping big caps on other teams just don't happen.

I'd consider that Korpisalo trade if we were getting Lindgren, rather than Fucale. It's probably a moot point, tho, because that Blues trade is extremely dubious (Allen isn't the problem there, so they're not going to pay that kind of premium for Price), and the Bruins trade is completely absurd and utterly without merit of any kind; they wouldn't do that if Montreal was the team adding, let alone Boston.

Weber is very good and many strong years to play, but IMO if MTL included their 1st from this year the answer would still be no.
