It's a nice job getting rid of a lot of cap talent, but where's the return? You'd better have supreme confidence in your scouts and farm development. Based on the last 5 years of returns (Beaulieu, Chucky #3, McCarron, Scherbak, Juulsen) am I convinced that we'll reap suitable replacements for Weber, Pacioretty and Price. I don't feel it.

Montreal signs Bozak(2years) and Plekanec(1 year) this summer, in 2020, you accumulate more prospects and draft picks by trading UFAs Galchenyuk, McDonald, Weise and Schlemko. By 2022-2023 Habs fan should start seeing result from being a bottom team 4 years out of 5.
