Description
Im thrilled Tampa took out the dirty antics of the Bruins. So long Marchand hope the league gives you a 20 game suspension for continually licking opponents which like the lighting said is just as bad if not worse than spitting. So long Chara and your dirty late hits. I hope bettman grows a pair and finally calls a kettle black and enforses the rules and stops the antics of those punks going forward. Anyways great job tampa the good guys finally won as leaf fan i wish it was us in the conference finals but good luck and thanks for taking out Boston punks.

Last time I checked licking isn't against the rules, and for all the dirty talk you seem to forget how much of a dirtbag Paquette is, not to mention J.T. Miller's two head shots to Krejci and Backes. You're lucky you had the refs on your side or this series would've looked a lot different

lmao that wasn't a headshot on Backes. The main point of contact was the shoulder area. Their heads collided, which is why it looked like it was a headshot.

Actually it would be under unsportsmanlike conduct seeing hes doing this to get a pp for his team using an antic. other than bruins fans everyone else feels that way. The NHL keep warning him to stop licking them and he more or less tells him NO. So if a tampa player was going round licking players trying to provoke a fight or out fustration a late hit to get him off the ice and your team a penalty you would consider it a clean play??? I doubt it.

Tampa had the refs on their side cause they were probably fed up with the NHL HQ not ending the bruins antics so they decided for tge good of the game to end their season.

They told him to stop once, after the Callahan incident, and he has. And yea, he's not doing it for fun, of course he's trying to provoke them. That's what he does, get under players skin. You don't like it, fight him. Callahan couldn't have minded that much cause he just kinda sat there after it happened

The series was called equally. I don't get all this "Tampa had the refs" crap. Both teams had dirty hits and plays, but in the end, if Boston wants to win the series next time, they have to deal with it and play how the refs are calling the games. Also the Miller hit on Backes was clean. Like it was said above, the initial point of contact is the shoulder, then the heads collided with eachother, nothing wrong with it. The hit on Krejci was the same, the shoulder was the initial point of contact. I don't get how Paquette is a dirtbag, he had some hits that may have gotten called, but there was no play from Paquette that I saw, that gives him the dirtbag title.

lmao even if that were the case it's not the ref's job to take the outcome of the game into their own hands, that would be illegal. The referee bias shown in this series, even just the inconsistency, if anything is bad for the game. But you know, the league needs Tampa to do good to keep revenue up in the sunbelt market.

Listen i was more talking bout jswiny3 making excuses why his dirtbag team didn't win a series they were completely outplayed in. Do i think the refs were purposely biased no. But human nature does try a correct a wrong and what Marchand was doing this season was clearly wrong. Anyways glad to see talent beat dirt this series and good luck in the next round.

Actually he was told in the leafs series to stop and he didn't and when asked by a reporter in the tampa series would he stop he laughed and said no. So yeah he didn't want to stop this. Callahan took it cause he didn't want to take a stupid penalty but that the same as a player being spit on and skating away doesn't make it right.

He was never asked to stop during the leafs series. He was asked about it by reporters and specifically said the league had not contacted him
