Idk really. Kerfoot for Carlo won't happen. Carlo didn't exactly progress in year 2 as much as he should. He's young but has no offensive ability and Kerfoot is going to be a stud. Add a pick maybe Colorado would think of it. Honestly right now with injury and slowing of production and a 7 million dollar contract krejci looks more of a cap dump than a productive piece. Yeah I like heinen but not enough to get hanifin from them. Boston has a ton of great pieces I just don't know how they exactly fit together.

I don't like any trade for any team involved. Why are we trading Carlo? It was clear he was missed throughout the playoffs. You can't replace is size and defense, skating ability or the confidence he gave Krug. Boston this year without Carlo in the regular season: 1-4-1 w/ a -6 goal diff. Factor in the playoffs and they were 6-10-2 and a -1 goal diff.

I think Colorado would make this deal, they really want a young defenseman, and Carlo fits the bill. Kerfoot is going to be a star, but Colorado needs Carlo more than Kerfoot right now.

I respectfully disagree. He isn't worth Kerfoot. You'll be totally disappointed in him. He isn't even a second pair player and with the lack of offense his ceiling is limited.

I believe that in a setting like Colorado, Carlo will thrive, he can play on a pair with Barrie even though he would be on his off side most likely. I like Carlo because of his size and physicality, something Colorado could really use to protect their quality players such as MacKinnon, Rantanen, etc.
