What 16 teams will make the playoffs next year 2019

Also, Ottawa is better than Detroit IMO.


In the prediction i posted, I have Islanders being the worst team in the league, the only thing that was giving them a boost this past season was their offense, losing JT will have a huge impact on that (I did say that Tavares ends up with SJS.), defense and goaltending is an issue with NYI too. and If OTT lose Karlsson... add the fact that I only see the Sens Goalie situation getting worse. (Anderson continues to decline, Condon is meh, Gustavsson isn't ready) OTT might be in for a really rough season next year.

NYI we’re dead last in Goals against with 293 and it was by a large margin. NYI were also last in shots allowed. They also had one of the worst goaltending duos .
If it wasn’t for their offense (with JT as the Centerpiece) they would of probably been close to last this past season. Giving all the weight of the offense to a sophomore (Barzal) is asking for disaster.

But if they fix their goaltending, that makes them much better. And even if they don't. Even if they don't fix their goaltending AND Tavares leaves, they still probably wouldn't be last. They have too good of a forward group to be LAST.

Maybe I think last place for for metro will be between Carolina , NYI, Columbus and maybe NYR too early to say we will see when it gets closer to season time

So just to check. It's not too early to say who's gonna make the post season and who isn't but it's "too early to say we will see when it gets closer to season time" for the bottom feeders? Righto.

Carolina is going to be pushing for the post season next year and the Jackets won't fall off that far off between now and next season. Rags and Isles are gonna be terrible

I think last place for the league, will be between, Pens, bolts, Caps, Preds, Jets, and Knights.... too early to tell though, next season is still far away.
