    Standing O..... Standing O..... Standing O

    1. All trades are extremely fair on both sides;

    2. I can even stomach the ARI deal without an extension in place;

    3. Only thing I would hope for is that we can acquire a RHD that can play top minutes to move Risto down to #2;

    Once again you really know your stuff!!!!!!

    I have no interest in Sheary nor want to move McCabe so no. Id move Scandella and even consider Sheary if it was Scandella there. I think McCabe has a very bright future as a unassuming, responsible 2nd pair dman that a lot of Sabres fans on here dont see (because he doesnt have fancy stats and played hurt all last year)

    From what I heard Dahlin could be a top pair guy immediately, Im just being conservative. If theyre both eating up minutes as a 1a 1b d group then it shouldnt matter (and the Sabres are very well off) but i dont want to celebrate too early, till he gets into a uni

    Please enlighten me on how a 4th liner and ECHL player plus a 2nd is worth Namestnikov.

    How is ROR, an ECHL player and another 4th liner worth OEL, a first and Perlini?

    That second is also #32. Sabres arent getting OEL and a first unless OEL walks because ROR is signed for 5 years. Id fully expect the Sabres to resign OEL. Could probably add a little more for Perlini, but if your going to say ROR is worth less than OEL were not on the same page then

    five stars for trading O'Reilly
    Ekman-Larsson, O = O'Reilly, R.
    Perlini, B >> Karabacek, V. + Baptiste

    Vladislav Namestnikov 22 goals 46 pts >>> Girgensons, Z ($800,000 retained) + Stephens, D. + 2018 2nd Think Reinhart would trade this for Reinhart?

    I can see PIT making this trade to get some cap space and a defenseman.

    I would guess OEL walks and signs with a contender. I bet he has had enough of missing the playoffs (not saying BUF will miss the playoffs but they won't contend) and would want to actually compete for a Cup.

    More going off ROR > OEL slightly by having a long term contract. Id personally drop the whole first thing, but people are complaining that OEL only has a year left. I think Perlini was playing above his means this year and Baptiste may benefit from a change of scenery. I could drop him though anyway. Again stole the Namestnikov trade which was Crouse and a 2nd for him. I know hes worth more i want an actual offer so i know where to start with NYR fans

    He gets to play with Dahlin though probably paired together just after a couple months, from what Ive heard about Dahlin, that may be a pretty good reason to stay and theyll be competing pretty quickly. Though I dont want to celebrate too early with the kid, and i hate hyperbole hype so i try to be conservative with anything Dahlin related

    Thanks for responding to me. OK O'Reilly is better than Ekman-Larsson, but Perlini is FAR better than Baptiste and Karabacek.
    And now that you got your comments on the Ranger trade what do you think? I think it is really bad, as I said think Reinhart and what would you want for him a 3rd/4th line LW/C, a C+/B- prospect and a 2nd. You would cry foul if some one posted that.

    Depending on how NYR fans see Nylander, i would say Nylander girgensons and 32 or the sabres 1st next year for that package? If the sabres were rebuilding and they see Nylander as an A prospect, id take it.

    We want to trade him because hes valuable and can address their need in one trade. As user Zach put it: 1. Best faceoff man in the league

    2. 55-60+ points every season he's played in BUF

    3. 3 consecutive 20+ goal seasons with BUF

    4. Still young and has plenty of term at a decent salary hit

    5. Awesome defensively

    6. Won the Lady Byng trophy in 2013-14 (nominated this year)

    7. Only 84 PIM over 651 NHL games (2 PIM in 81gp this season)

    8. 457 career takeaways to 157 giveaways (that's amazing)

    9. Works hard and puts in extra time at practice

    10. He's a center. A center of his caliber is extremely hard to find

    11. He is a complete workhorse, played the most minutes of any forward in 2016-17

    12. His Corsi and Fenwick are positive.

    All of these while playing for the worst team in modern era hockey

    1. Sure he can take a faceoff 2, 3 and 4 55 pts is not worth 7.5m and hes not really young (age of most ufas)
    5,6,7,8,11,12 could have been summed up into one "good defensively and doesnt take penalties" and yeah ill give u that
    9. Who cares
    10. As i have just said, He is not of some extreme calibre

    Im not ripping the guy a part, he is a good player and worth something but not what you guys think

    He had 61 on one of the worst offenses in NHL history. I really think his value will suprise you. (and I think we'll find out this summer, because the Sabres need to address holes and Botts wants a COL-esque turnaround)
