You can have either Lindgren or the third, not both.

I think it's close enough to work out the deal, we are on the same page for the most part.

I'm trying to figure why every Canadiens fan says how great Galchenyuk is and then they all want to trade him to the Oilers. It would appear that he's not so great...that's just a guess on my part based on how many Canadiens fans want to trade him. The Oilers pass.

I've actually been thinking about the same thing. Maybe he just doesn't fit to the team, in a sense.

Montreal has seen this show over and over -- guys who thrive once they move. Chucky arrived as a teenager who had missed almost all of his draft year with a bum knee (ironically, if he hadn't missed the season, Oilers probably would have drafted him, Columbus would have taken Yakupov and Habs would have had Rem Murray or Griffin Reinhart). Chucky was touted as a saviour, believed his own media, and then got "protected" by Therrien. He had the added problem of an overbearing father who has been living his failed career through his son. A trade would be a wakeup call for both. What is undeniable when you watch Galchenyuk is the complete talent he is. He skates flawlessly, has great hands and a dynamite shot. He is just a whipped dog in Montreal who needs a new home. On a good centre's wing -- or centering a good pair of wingers without hearing about "the system" every time he comes back to the bench -- he'd score 80 points+ every year.
