lehkonen for morrisey is a possibility but anything else inst fair for montreal... lehkonen had a sophmore slump last year but the guy has huge upside and if montreal gets their **** together next year im expecting at least a 25-25-50 season

So Jets are supposed to bank on the fact that Lehkonen having a breakout year in exchange for a top 4 dman playing in the conference finals as one of the teams best dman is a benefit to them? I'm all for Lehkonen but lets not exaggerate either. I would do that trade in 2 seconds and anyone who understands this team knows that will make us better. its a moot point though, Jets wouldn't do it as Morrissey is there top Left handed dman. Makes no sense for them to move him. Especially for a winger in which they have a plethora of already.

Those contracts are completely unrealistic. Tavares is going to want max term, even if that AAV would be higher than on other offers, Green is going to get almost twice as much term and AAV than that from some other team, Morrissey is a young top pairing dman, not only is he not going to be traded but he'll also want a longer contract (you're offering 3rd pairing dman kinda money lol) and Danault after establishing himself as a solid middle six C is not going to take 4th liner money especially as the Habs don't have much leverage with their C depth.
