Description
So everyone is going to bash Rinne for a terrible game which he did have, he wasn’t the biggest problem for Nashville in this game was the poor defence in front of their net..... I’m calling out Ellis and Subban...... Rinne was bad but in the first goal if Ellis stays in the corner with the puck they don’t get a shot on net the sneaks in and on the second goal if Ellis steps up and takes the body on the guy coming out frount he doesn’t get the second shot that goes it.... on the third goal like it’s been most of the series subban gets too close to Saros and doesn’t take the pass away and Saros can’t slide over fast enough to stop the one timer.... to the fourth goal, Ellis again can’t stop the guy in frount if the net! The opponent gets body position on him and bang home the rebound.... the rest of the goals don’t mean much with the game too far out if reach for Nashville. So yes, Rinne couldn’t stop a icky but he had no help in his own zone, then when the preds got down the couldn’t get anything going 5v5 and their only goal was on the PP on a nice shot by Subban and a sweet pass by Johansen.

All that being said I don’t think the roster changes much for them going to next year.

I have to say Nashville put up a fight in game 6, but I felt Winnipeg just had it out for Nashville.

Winnipeg was the better team for four if the games..... that’s why they won the series.

The thing with the playoffs is it often comes down to the hottest team at the time. Nashville has an awesome season but even in the Colorado series they weren’t firing on all cylinders. IMO they hit their peak at the wrong time

i'd start giving Saros more starts. He looks like he could do what Helleybuck did.

I have to agree with both of you.... and it sucks but it’s looking like Tampa just got hot in this last series and Winnipeg is going to be hot too.

The Saros thing I’d have to say he should be the number one next year.
