very interesting trade between arizona and the oilers. But i think this trade benefits the oilers at the end of the day. Oilers would improve their Defense substantially while at the same time dumping milan lucic's contract giving up the 10th pick, klefbomb, and a swap of prospects. Arizona has no incentive to trade bolland's contract to anybody because they are not a cap tightened team by any means and they just have to put him in LTIR at the start of the year. Arizona could easily afford the extra cap hit on this. Now if a trade between arizona and oilers were to be talked about involving OEL and i were arizona's GM, i wouldn't even consider talking unless Draisitl was in the conversation. maybe a Draisitl and lucic for OEL and a good prospect from arizona. That way Arizona gets their #1C and the Oilers get their #1 Defenseman hands down while also dumping lucic's contract and getting a good prospect to give the team more cap to improve the team.

I could see a Draisaitl and Lucic for OEL and Max Domi swap oilers could add a top prospect like Benson or C.Jones, But OEL would have to have a contract extension in place.

i don't think the Oilers would have to give up one of their top prospects. maybe a 2nd round pick or something because Draisitl is going to be Arizona's face of the franchise and lucic though his contract is bad, is an improvement over almost anything arizona has right now so i think the trade purposal you brought up is more than enough for both sides.
