    It's too easy to blame Rinne. Yes he wasn't good, but that's grabbing the low hanging fruit. Winnpeg is a heck of a team and even if Rinne stands on his head WPG still wins, I mean they only scored one goal on Helleybuck last night. Good luck winning many games when you score 1 on 35 or more shots. WPG was just a bit better than NSH, no reason to panic Preds fans you guys lost to a great team.

    The notion that Saros is next years starter is completely asinine. He started 26 games this year and you guys think he's ready for a starter role? There's a reason they have him and RInne and they actually lived together, Rinne is mentoring him into being the starter when he's gone, which won't be next year. Expect him to see 30-35 games next season and maybe in 2 years time hes the starter in NSH

    Lol, truth be told I have 3 teams, Calgary, LA and Nashville.

    Kings offence drove me bananas against Vegas!

    It's not necessary that Rinne gets traded but it is necessary that Saros gets to start at least half of the games next year.
    Helleybuck played 26 games in 2015-2016 then 56 last season and 67 this year. This is what Saros path should look like, becoming the starter in 2019-20.

    Well said.... also last night the defense was awful in front of the net letting Winnipeg walk right out front or stand there to get a solid one timer off. Ellis and Subban didn’t have their best games of the year defensively last night....

    I think Washington and Nashville will be reaching the same crossroads Tampa and Pittsburgh were at last year pretty soon here. Saros and Samsonov will be seeing more and more ice time with each passing season, eventually until either a) they become good enough to be a full time starter b) Rinne or Holtby's value drops to where they are almost forced to trade them while they still have something

    The only silver lining to that series is that Kempe is looking like he may break out here soon. He and Quick were the only two players in that series.
