NYR happily accepts. I think it helps both sides tbh. Martinez trade needs a little more from your side. Other than that this is very good

It’s just my opinion, but Sprong is better fit for Geno.

I’m not sure that we need to add in the LAK trade. I’ll add a third and take a 5th back, but I don’t think it’s necessary.

Rust is a great player, but isn’t worth as much as Martinez.
Hunnwick is a traffic cone that isn’t worth much, adding a second or something around that value would make it even

sprong had great chemistry with sid. sprong hasn't even played with geno. sprong would be better off on crosby's wing because crosby would rather pass than shoot and sprong would rather shoot than pass.

I agree dont lottery protect the pick, but I’d like DeSmith. He’s what 26-27, and he wont mess up the Rangers’ future plans for goaltending. He won’t become an NHL starter or anything. He can just b a solid backup.

Really it depends on how people see it. If Hunwick’s only a cap dump, then yes, a 2nd or something would need added, but if LA could see Hunwick fitting in and doing better, that trade isnt bad, especially because Martinez is 30 and LA will b needing a rebuild very soon.

“Great chemistry”

Not really . . . A 2v1 goal doesn’t count as chemistry imo. They weren’t that good tbh

I mean I never said the trade was bad. I just thought it needed a little more. Since LA has had a great defensive core for years, I believe that their standards for defenseman will be high and Hunnwick won’t meet those standards
