    Addition to previous trade

-Islanders get 3 prospects (one who might be KHL bound, but still hold his rights, Marody has shown success at the College level, Caggulia who shows grit and looks like a safe bet for 3rd line duties at least, plus a pick)
    NYI
    1. Caggiula, Drake
    Additional Details:
-Oilers get two skilled prospects who have struggled to crack the Islanders roster for a few years now.

Who you'd you suggest? I don't think Yamo will be ready, especially after having a relatively down year in Junior to what was expected of him. I thought Bear might be a good chance, but again, banking on him to be regular is just asking for another disaster. I know thats kind of what I did with Timmins, but man do I ever love his games. Kid is going to be a stud.
Benson hasn't shown an real strides in becoming a competitor for a spot next year, and after him, the prospect pool is pretty much empty. Safin still has a few years to go. That's why my thoughts of pursuing young, once highly-regarded prospects, would be a great play to get potentially top 6 players, with skill for a cheap cost.

I can't really think of any prospects you would have in mind of actually competing for a spot next year.

That's the point. Let them develop. How do you think teams like Nashville get that good? Or the jets? How many of their players sat in the ahl developing into prospects. To trade them away for people who might make it. But can't on their respective team. As for benson. Let him develop. Sure it might not be as good as you hoped. But I like him in the ahl better than not in our system.. Keep puljujaarvi down in the ahl with them. He needs it. Play with skill in top line minutes. It's the first time in..probably in franchise history we actually have a farm team. So our up and comers have built up chemistry. To trade any of them is asinine
