You honestly think Toronto would give that much for what you just gave them?

Wow. And I though there would not be any worse thing for Leafs than signing John Carlson..
Want Marner? No. He is not for sell anytime.. you can take Gardiner everyday if you want for whatever you would give us but hell no Mitchy, he is staying Leaf for life.

No chance in hell from Toronto. Not giving up the best player in the trade (yes i mean Marner is better then the other 3) and Gardiner who is good also, for a LHD (which we have a plethora of) and a scoring winger who we have a plethora of).

Leafs signing Carlson could be the best thing this offseason. Even better then signing Tavares. That's right I said it.

Best thing to **** this team up. I honestly believe that after Carlson signs deal somewhere someplace (NOT TOR) they are going to regret it. Not now, not in 19/20 but after that, he is going to be pretty shitty. If his salary goes up to 7mil per, team that signed him is going to suck. He is one dimensional and if you would not aware, we have this kind of player on our team, his name is Jake Gardiner and he put up 52 points in year that leafs fans said he "sucked", one year before contract year, Carlson's stats were around 40pts per season with one 55pts season. He is 40-50 pts guy at BEST. Why he is so good this season and everybody would offer him more than 7mil deals? Yeah, contract year.. shift up, after that not so much. Same story would be with Gardiner, who I believe would put up crazy numbers, like great crazy. Signing, resigning both of them is going to be longterm CAPHELL.

Actually for current playing. value it might be a fair trade. But I'm sure the Leafs like the potential of 20 year old Marner over the 26 year old Fowler. Also LHD isn't an urgent need for the Leafs, so if Marner was traded it would be for a bigger need. Also Fowler has a very restrictive NTC, I can't see the Ducks trading him.

I don't completely disagree but with Leafs most likely trading Gardiner anyway, I'd like to sign Carlson to replace his production.

Also people (including me) said Gardiner had a bad year cause he had 103 giveaways. I'll repeat that, ONE HUNDRED AND THREE GIVEAWAYS!!!
Granted Carlson had 97 but still not 100+...
