Some thoughts:

Think Baertschi could be a decent trade target. Add some skill and goal scoring to the left side, which is pretty barren other than RWs playing on their off side. Hopefully with an improved roster that 2nd rounder isn't #32 again.

Bought out Larsson for convenience. If a trade partner can be found, great, but the buyout is dirt cheap. I don't think he's a horrible player, but some new faces (untainted by the losing culture of the last few years) need to come into the room, and Larsson is my odd man out.

Re-signed Lehner for one year at his qualifying offer. More or less a 1A to Ullmark's hopefully 1B. If they don't want to keep Lehner around and don't qualify him, I won't be upset. However, he's probably an easier option than signing one of the UFAs (Hutton, Bernier, Khudobin, etc.).

Beaulieu had a rough year and finding a trade partner to take on that cap hit will be tough. Others deserve a spot on the roster more, so waive him and send him to Rochester. If he gets claimed, fine. If he doesn't, he's your overpaid 9th defenseman until he proves otherwise. A buyout is also very affordable option, but doesn't seem necessary in his case.

I have Pilut making the team, but there's a decent chance he'll need some seasoning in Rochester (like Olofsson) to acclimate to the North American ice. In that case, Guhle makes the opening night roster. Whichever guy starts the season in Rochester will more than likely split the season developing further with the Amerks, and getting called up when Bogo inevitably gets injured.

It looks good, but I don't like Lehner, especially for this money.

Idk if Vancouver will move Baertschi for that cheap. A 2nd is nice but Fasching I cant see having value anymore. I also hope you’re right and Nylander can make the jump. All in all not a horrible AGM

Lehner's qualifying offer would be 4.0M (which is what I meant to put, 4.1 is a typo), if we don't offer him that contract we lose his rights. That wouldn't be the end of the world, but it's not like we're in a cap crunch so keeping him wouldn't be impossible.

I know we have to offer Lehner at least four million. I don't see the point in Lehner next season. We have Ullmark, and I would like to sign an experienced goalkeeper for him, who has more than one year behind his shoulders as a starter, at least for safety. Yes, we can even sign Bernier or Hutton for less than Lehner.
