This is bad, STL is getting hosed and Nashville doesn’t need a goalie, Petry won’t get you a first, then why do you screw yourself in the Buffalo trade Weber is worth more then that.

You think all those guys I got from STL are gonna be on their roster next year? STL is gonna be better next year with Pacioretty/ Scherbak/ Gallagher and Shevchnikov or Zadina. NSH does need a goalie cause Rinne chocked again and Sarros is overrated. Yes it's not illogical to think that by giving Petry and taking back crappy McDonald at similar contracts will get me at least the 19th OAP.

Yes, St. Louis is definitely trading their future offense.

They can worry about the future when it gets here. The package I'm giving, they're all NHL ready

Wow, even MTL fans think it’s bad.... we don’t know what Saros is or isn’t, Rinne will retire after next year and I don’t think Nashville would want Price with Rinne, Philadelphia isn’t in a cap problem so they don’t need to get rid of him so you wouldn’t get a first for Petry. I didn’t even notice all the one year deals that would never be signed because the players are looking for multiple years......

St. Louis trading what could potentially be their entire first line in a few years? Keep dreaming man, every trade here heavily favours Montreal

I would make a comment about how bad this is, but everyone beat me to it it seems. Thompson, Thomas, Kyrou and Kostin could very well be STL's top 4 forwards in a few years here. Thompson and Kostin will likely make it full time next season. Every trade here is lopsided in favour of the Habs...

Edit: None of those FA signings will go through for 1 season

They trade Rinne, they don't keep both. Petry is better than MacDonald, it has nothing to do with cap. The point is to get better NOW, cause every team in the METRO is getting better NOW.

Both players are 5/6 Dmen...... why take Price just to trade Rinne?? That sounds so dumb to me but I’m not a MTL fan desperately trying to trade Price.....

Like I said, every team got better next year except for the Habs. I'll say it again. And you can't guarantee Kostin will be on the team next year.

Reasons why Blues wouldn’t do this.

1.) Blues don’t have room for all of that.
2.) Pacioretty just came off his worst year and wouldn’t be any better on a Blues Second Line
3.) All of the prospects you just named either impacted the AHL, CHL, or played NHL.
4.) Montreal wouldn’t even do this deal MTL would be stupid to give up the 3OA
5.) how can the blues win with crap like PAC-man?
6.) Look at the Blues real close. Kyrou 100 point CHL season, Kostin Top 10 Euro Player. (Injuries caused him to fall to STL in the draft). Thompson played a decent rookie year in the NHL. Schmaltz played great top line AHL. Army had already said he is having a NHL spot.

Petry is a 3-4 on a bad team, he’s be a 5-6 on a good team, on great d corse he’s a healthy scratch..... they’re even in my book, they’ve both put up great numbers, Rinne might choke but Price can’t stay healthy for any long stretch.....

Seeing Stastny signed for 9 million? God Damn. Hell yea he will sign for that. Is he worth it .....No. Habs say oh well. Seeing a 9 million dollar contract for Stastny is actually the best thing I have seen on here.

Best thing is he signed Paul Stastny to a 9 Million Dollar deal. Ooooohh yes . a lot of Mulah For Stast. Talk about looting a team. And Honestly that is the best transaction on here. Nice work @The_architect

Ya I know what the blues prospects have done in the minors. Dylan Strome had better numbers than all of them and still can't crack the damn YOTES! So you can't guarantee anything about any of those prospects.

Pacioretty had 1 bad year, coincidently that was the worse D and C depth MB had ever assembled. Pacioretty needs to play with good centers and it will payoff.

Saying MTL would be stupid to trade the 3rdOAP is like saying STL is stupid for not taking it.

I don't want Scmaltz and who is Army?
