Retain just a bit of salary on Little and I'd happily take that as a habs fan

Chiarot would have to clear waivers.
I think Armia, Lowry and Hellebuyck get more $$$

Zero chance you get Stanley in that deal. Also not sure why WPG would want a goalie.

If you don't want to retain salary on Little 6years deal @ 5,3M... and getting back 2 good 2nd rounder... no choice... and WPG want to keep Niku.
WPG have depth at D with Niku and Poolman in the Top6... Comrie is a great Prospect but might need a older option at a low cost.

How much more for Helley?
For Armia & Lowrie... maybe... I had a hard time to price them! 2M-2,5M/y???

Little's deal is not bad for a 2C...1C in MTL. He is still a productive player when healthy and put in the right spot.

trade makes a lot of sense. though maybe one 2nd rd pick, and one 3rd round pick should be good

Their hands aren't forced until the following year so making a bad trade now would be a bad decision.

So you can't keep Statsny as you need to sign Trouba & Morrissey

You do know they don't have to move little...it could be Myers or Perreault. They don't have much of an issue. They can also buy-out Mason and bring up Comrie. There is ZERO need to dump a guy and lose a top prospect doing so.

Little with 6 more years would be the right piece to move as the other won't cost much to buythemout on their last contract year.
I hope you are right because I'm having alot of fun watching WPG this season...
