Larkin for Hanifin is a hard no.

I just posted a hypothetical trade that the guys over at WIIM and Canes Country cooked up for Hanifin, curious to see what the Carolina fans think. But definitely not for Larkin.

Also i dont like the overpayment for Sorokin, he seems like a really skilled goalie, but he is still in year 1 of his 3 year deal with CSKA Moscow. I think the high 2nd would be enough, not the first as well. But theres still that "what if" factor with russian players who are still playing in Russia.

I love the Hanifin for Larkin deal. I just think the value is a little one sided. Maybe adding a few lower end picks to even the value out a little makes this a good trade for Carolina and still leaves Detriot in cap hell
