Florida is getting hosed in that one. It might just be me but I think Pacioretty is way overrated at this point in his career. I wouldn’t trade him for Bjugstad straight up

Your kidding right? Bjugstad struggles to get to 50 while Pacioretty puts up 60+ with Phil Danault as his center. Struggled wth injuries this season (which is only the second season of his career he has missed significant time) and didn’t have any chemistry with Drouin like they thought he would.

Put him in Florida beside either Trochek or Barkov and he easily gets to 60 points again and possibly even 70.

Yeah your probably right, he’ll get 60 points next year and maybe another after that. Resign for a huge contract and be overpriced veteran on a third line for the rest of his career. The one thing that might keep him productive is that he is a great skater but still, there’s that risk the older he gets.
