Karlsson, Pageau and 2019 2nd for ROR, Ristolainen and 2019 1st RD pick. That trade happens after July 1st to allow Buffalo to sign Karlsson before the trade is completed.

Sabres get to play Karlsson with Dahlin, forming one of the best defensive pairs in the NHL. Pageau becomes Sabres #3 centre behind Eichel and Mittelstadt. The picks even out the trade.
