I think it costs us more than Galchenyuk to get Muzzin, but I like the ground work. Maybe a prospect (Scherbak? Mete?) or a draft pick (2nd rounder?) would interest LAK.

Muzzin is currently the more valuable player so I get how we should add something but Galchenyuk is a couple of years younger and the team trading for him is also partly trading for his untapped potential, I think he still has more to give in this league. I think I would be alright with adding something small (maybe Muzzin + 4th for Chucky + 2nd or something like that) but Mete and Scherbak are absolutely off the table for me as add-ons.

Galchenyuk with Kopitar would be deadly for LA

With the age gap I would not trade Galchenyuk

But is he going to re-sign in Montreal? With how he's been treated, I wouldn't count on that. Him and Muzzin have equal term left on their respective contracts which is more important than age difference imo.
