Alright. So here's why I'm looking at Tyler Seguin.

He's a free agent next year, and he's going to be asking for a lot of money. We're talking maybe 10mil+.

Dallas was one of the teams looking at Galchenyuk. I mean, at this point half the league has looked at Galchenyuk, but a team like Dallas probably likes his skills, and could see him playing center.

We would be taking one of their cap dumps, Martin Hanzal.

A prospect, and 2 seconds (#38, #56) in a decently deep draft, could pursuade Nill to pry Seguin out of his hands.

Faksa and Janmark have been making great progress this year, and one of those two could potentially step up to cover 2C.

Dallas needs a change of pace after the disasterous 2nd half of last season, which saw them lose 15 of their last 24 games, including a 8 game losing streak, and them missing the playoffs.
