It's 1 per team EARLY, before that player hits the open market.
By all means if you have enough cap room, feel free to bid on as many free agents as you choose.
But also remember, if you win each bid YOU ARE COMMITTED TO THAT CONTRACT and if that takes you over the cap or contract limit, there will be penalties.

But you can sign as many FA as you want.

We can go over the cap in FA though, so its not like there is an Instant Penalty

I know that, I’m just saying we should be able to sign more than one Pending UFA before they hit the market. For example, let’s use the leafs. What if the leafs wanted to resign Bozak and JVR. They sign JVR first and then let bozak into free agency without even discussing contract talks with the bog. It’s unfair that ufa rights mean jack all and we should be able to have first rights on signing our own pending ufa’s.

Like v1, we were able to resign all of our pending ufa’s if we wanted to. But now we can only resign one and we are forced to outbid 30 other gms for those ufa’s we lost

I completely understand your viewpoint here. However I didn't have any say in the rules for v3 that were created. I've merely been appointed to ensure they are followed.
Generally even in real life teams don't go crazy signing numerous UFAs on their team.

Vegas Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights are looking to move out some center depth. Lindberg, Bellemare, Carpenter and Eakin are available. Mainly looking for RHD or LW depth.

Arizona Coyotes

The Arizona Coyotes will not be taking anymore cap dumps, at least for the moment. All attention is being turned to moving OEL, contact me if you have any interest in adding him to your blue line.

Young Top 4 LHD (26 & under)

Or

Combination of picks/prospects

Or

Upgraded LW that's a bit older, possibly will be UFA when contract expires

Would like to have 2+ years left before UFA, but depends on the LW

@krakowitz @matt59 @Icegirl @flamesfan419 @Bo53Horvat

So before a decision is made, i thought GMs were supposed to explain why they did the deal? And also, for us to reconstruct the deal, who do you feel this is unfair for?

I think it's obvious who it's unfair for...
