-Alzner is a cap dump. Nobody is taking him without you giving up a good prospect/pick and/or retaining on him.
-As dumb as Chiarelli is, I don't think he's that dumb. If Edmonton is willing to give up that much to get 1 year of a winger, they might as well pick up Skinner instead.
-Benn was a waiver claim, sure a 5th rounder doesn't have much value, but whoever trades that can just go and sign a 7th dman without wasting the pick
