Sharks Have to Get VERY Creative if they wanna keep Kane (who is now said to have signed a 7x7 deal according to @sportsnetirf)

Dump Martin to ARZ and lose a 2nd and 3rd

Trade Boedker for a cheaper player

Sign Thornton for 1M (He said he would take a big pay cut to help sign FA's)

Last I saw btw Cap is said to be going to 78M so that is what I set it to

    He said in his Exit Interview that he would be willing to take a massive pay cut to make it work with FA's. Thornton at this point wants to win and stay in SJ to do it. If they want JT that is what it will take

    The 1st round pick the Sabres receive is the 2019 pick. You do not have to send another, but if you do, they will be sure to accept it! lol

    Not sure he would take a mil. I was thinking like 3 or 4 as a pay cut. Another team would happily pay him 6. Otherwise, like the team.

    Kane 7 over 7 will only be eclipsed by Carey Price as the worst contract ever. (DiPietro another thing that can't be included here)

    At least 12 million for Tavares.

    Hertl will never take 6 by 4. Either 2 years 4.5 million or 6 years for 5.5 million.
