I don’t think that trade is crazy by any means, but who do you take at 12? Also don’t see NYI taking that pick with the risk it doesn’t come till 2020.

That is too much for Carlson and a bit rich for Hutton imo. Evander Kane just got a 7yr/$49mill Deal, JVR wont be making anything less than 7/$45.5mill and that just shouldn’t be in Buffalo’s plans

I figure both Carlson and JVR around $49KK/7yr just as you indicate. I would go after Tavares before Carlson. Dahlin will do just fine and were Carlson's stats a little inflated due to with whom he was playing?

Potentially. I’m not even sold on the Tavares thing tbh haha, we could figure it out without either one of them. Carlson has really blossomed this year and has been pretty dominant playing with Kempny who wasn’t necessarily a world beater before coming over. I’d honestly target Carlson over Tavares I think

I think it will be almost impossible to move Pominville to any other team except maybe Montreal and that is a HUGE maybe..... he will not want to move his family across the country.

I would agree with mikeyscav on targeting Carlson over JT..... a RHD that can carry the play is more important for this organization plus it should cost you $4,000,000 less per year.

I am not sold on JVR I do not think his game will fit well with Eichel but we are desperate for LW..... I still think that Carl Hagelin is the best option as a one year bridge..... but bridge to whom????

I believe you can’t move the 2019 sharks first due to a condition still being available on it (if SJ misses the playoffs it’s a 2020 1st). However, what I’ve thought about was shopping Buffalo’s 2019 1st and lottery protect it similarly. If BUF misses the playoffs it becomes 2020, and if they make it, they still have a 1st from SJ.
