If a Montreal fan doesn't like that trade they need to get their Mental Health checked

I like the FLA trade, but I'm a Pysyk fan so I probably wouldn't do it. Maybe McCoshen and 2018 5th round pick for Russell and a 2018 3rd.

I mean, if we offered Shaw, Lernout, 2 2nds and 2019 first for Nuge, would you accept?

Bergevin would be nuts not to take that offer seriously. But he has surprised and disappointed before with poor decisions....

Can you keep salary on Shaw? Two 2nds are not equal to a 10 OV pick. Ethan Bear is younger and has more upside then Lernout
But I get the point your trying to make.

2 first and a good prospect with retention on lucic yeah Oiler fans dont like this trade I'd rather just keep lucic we already have a thin prospect pool as it is dont need to make it thinner trading bear and 2 first round pick

But seriously what an overpayment here like yeah galchenyuk is decent but he doesnt have much value for him either we end up paying more for galchenyuk then lucic retaining 1.5 on that contract just way to much man habs

Giving up 2 firsts and just to dump lucic's contract makes no sense. The guy had one bad season...ONE out of his entire career. He will bounce back. So now your mortgaging the future in 2 first rounders for Galchenyuk who is an uncertainty himself.

Would you take the deal if we didn’t retain any salary and kept Bear? Making the package Lucic and 2 first round picks for Galchenyuk?

I wouldn't give up two first round picks in general I'd rather wait an see if he bounces back eat up two more years of his salary then buy him out not worth giving up two first round picks
