First off all ELCs are for 3 years @$925,000 per+Bonuses not $950,000. Secondly not sure all of these prospects are 100% NHL ready Zadina, Svechnikov, Dahlin definitely are both Wahlstrom and Tkachuk are committed to going to College so neither would be playing this season. Probably the same with Quinn Hughes going back for another season at the University of Michigan. Pretty sure that Rasmus Dahlin is a left handed shooting RD and Noah Dobson is RD as well. I think outside of Dahlin Boqvist, Bouchard and Hughes are probably as close to being 100% NHL ready right now as they will ever be.

Dahlin and Svechnikov are the no-brainers. Tkachuk might be ready but he's already committed to NCAA. Same with Wahlstrom. Hughes could probably use another season to take over at Michigan and to get stronger (NCAA season is a little less strenuous, more time to hit the weights). Bouchard might be NHL-ready (he's played 3 seasons of Junior already) but it depends on what team takes him and what their plan is. I wouldn't rush a defenseman into the NHL personally. The rest of those guys will need a couple of years of development.

I am just not quite sure if a couple of these guys are going to be ready for next season. Namely, Kotkaniemi, Farabee, and Wilde in my opinion. I agree with a bunch of the others (except those who are definitely playing in the NCAA next year).

Damn, he's probably the only one worth talking about haha. I think at camp and preseason he'll play his way into getting a cup of coffee, and my guess is he'll stick, but it will depend on how he's used. If MTL drafts him and lets him play on the top line, he should be able to stick. But if they play him 10 min per night on a checking line, they will set him up for failure.

I totally agree. Montreal for a reason seems to enjoy setting up their prospects for failure before eventually trading them away.
