"seriously thinkthat Carolina Hurricanes are going to be moved by 2020 to Quebec. " Sammy I would love to see an successful franchise in Quebec. (not necessarily at the expense of Carolina). I just wonder if there is enough NHL paying customers that could support an NHL team long term.

I thing there might be, they are hungry for NHL team for years and I think that it might be good option. From business perspective definitely better option (and that is where Bettman is looking first, he is a businessman), with the hunger in Quebec City and young team which needs just a goalie and 1 C to be playoff team it would be the best option they are looking for. And rivalry with Montreal, Winnipeg is just a cherry on top. Tom Dundon is that type of guy from what I saw from reading him that would pull the trigger on it. I mean.. there is always a way for EVERY team to be succesful from both hockey and business side. Even in Glendale, Arizona..

I think that they will be moved eventually, but that it is because of the money problems due to lack of attendance. I would say the exact same about Arizona. I personally think that Quebec could manage to have a good team for multiple years and that Carolina might be the one to move there. How great would it be if Mats Sundin got a role in the front office?

As for what you did, I do not think it is a good idea to trade Skinner no matter what you are getting. The trade that you did is kind of fair though... lol

ROR trade is great. 2 birds, 1 stone.

Bettman recently announced that Seattle is not on the agenda for the upcoming Board of Governor's Meeting. I highly doubt any team gets moved barring an arena/owner emergency before Seattle gets their expansion team. Considering Vegas' new success and popularity, you'd have to think that the league would want to stagger the amount of new teams entering too, so any Quebec move would most likely take place at least a year after Seattle.

We will see what unfolds in the Dundon era. So far it hasn't looked great lol

Five stars for wanting O'Reilly
Botterill would give you his 1st born for this trade.
Lehner = 2nd round pick
O'Reilly = Faulk + Lindholm
nothing <<<<<<< Skinner
BTW I am a Sabre's fan and that is my take on this trade.

Horrendous overpayment for ROR only bested by the ridiculous Quebec conjecture.
