    What you mean you guys were going trade him anyways for him at trade deadline but we wanted him and tanner pearson too thats way to much but 2nd round picks and 30+ goal scorer and Ben just there for cap space next year.

    One of the hardest no’s from LA you’ll ever receive. We’re starting the rebuild. Patches is not going to be who we want for that. Besides, @NickC1988 is correct in saying Vilardi is our biggest untouchable.

    While true, this was also about 2 weeks after Vilardi came off an injury that left him off the ice for 5 months. After his numbers he posted this season, yeah it’s a hard pass. 2 second round picks =/= a guy who should’ve gone higher than 11th to begin with AND just finished posting an almost 2.0 ppg in the OHL coming off of a back injury.
